Student of Scripture was first launched in late 2003 as a personal website. The Student of Scripture website was born out of a desire to share the blessing of God’s Word with my family and friends.
Student of Scripture seeks to find the truth of God’s Word as it is written in the Bible. It is my desire, as the creator of this website, to bring each reader to the well and allow them to drink as they desire. Many times we have a person that doles out cups of water, once, twice, maybe three times a week. The Bible is open to everyone, and can be understood by anyone with a heart to seek.
To accomplish this goal, we will investigate the mindset of the writers of the Bible. We will dig into a culture nearly four thousand years old. We will examine ancient words that teem with life. These explorations will begin to reveal to us the heights of the Love of God, His desire for our lives and the depths mercy that He gives to a fallen world.
